About Simen Stryckers knives

My goal is to make the best possible folding knives for everyday use, and keep improving them.

Stryckers knives should be practical, durable and simple.

Practical and durable are not suprising for a tool. 
Simple means an aesthetic style that I find good looking but also the ideal or goal to design and make products that work very well while being made of few components, being easy to operate and maintain.  

As you probably know, Simen Stryckers is the name of the person behind Simen Stryckers knives. I am a knifemaker from Antwerpen (Belgium), my first folding knives were made in 2012 at the age of 16.

Knifemaking has been my biggest passion since then, every day brings a new challenge and possibility for improvement.
 

I finished shool as industial engineer: electromechanics. Science, mechanical design and production processes are some of my favourite things in the world. This knowledge and experience allows me to better understand how to design folding knives that last and to fabricate them in a smart way.

Knifemaking used to be an activity for after studies and work. The end of 2023 is when the company Simen Stryckers engineering was founded, a one-man company that allows me to be a knifemaker and freelance engineer.

Other hobbies:
Being outdoors, hiking, camping and riding the bicycle.

Travelling on the motorcycle, a 2017 V-strom 650.
